Care for Miguel, 93: help cover a carer and medication in Ribeirão Preto
Miguel, 93, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,500 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 93. After the death of his spouse Miguel can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Miguel desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Miguel worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $1,050
• Medication and prescriptions: $220
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $140
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Rooting for you, Simone. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. All the best.
Hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Ribeirão Preto.
You're not alone. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
