Care for Lincoln, 85: help cover a carer and medication in San Diego
Lincoln, 85, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $4,050 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 85. After worsening Parkinson's disease Lincoln can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Lincoln desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Lincoln worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $340
• Part-time carer (four months): $3,250
• Medication and prescriptions: $460
