Leonardo, 75, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $4,750 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 75. After a diagnosis of dementia Leonardo can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Leonardo desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Leonardo worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $4,750 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $3,550
• Medication and prescriptions: $720
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $280
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $200
