I'm caring for my mother, who's 88. After a heart attack Jade can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Jade desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Jade worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

Small update. $504 so far, the plan for medication and prescriptions is now scheduled.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($145 in total) I met with the care agency and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Quick update: $110 raised so far (10%). I made the first payment toward medication and prescriptions. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
