Care for Guilherme, 76: help cover a carer and medication in Santos
Guilherme, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,250 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After worsening Parkinson's disease Guilherme can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Guilherme desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Guilherme worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $130
• Part-time carer (six months): $900
• Medication and prescriptions: $220
