Care for Evelyn, 78: help cover a carer and medication in Los Angeles

I'm caring for me, who's 78. After a fall and hip fracture Evelyn can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Evelyn desperately wants to stay at home. I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Evelyn worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 4 children.
