Care for Byaruhanga, 76: help cover a carer and medication in Kisumu
Help Byaruhanga stay in his own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After worsening Parkinson's disease Byaruhanga can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Byaruhanga desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Byaruhanga worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $600 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $300
• Medication and prescriptions: $130
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $100
