I'm caring for me, who's 85. After worsening Parkinson's disease Agnès can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Agnès desperately wants to stay at home. I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Agnès worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.       The list at the bottom is the whole picture. hospital bed and mattress rental is the biggest at $200. I'll keep the page updated.
