I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After worsening Parkinson's disease Adam can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Adam desperately wants to stay at home. I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Adam worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $1,750 goes: • Part-time carer (eight months): $1,400 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $150 • Medication and prescriptions: $200 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Dariusz
