I'm caring for my father, who's 86. After a heart attack Cameron can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Cameron desperately wants to stay at home. I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Cameron worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $4,950 goes: • Part-time carer (six months): $3,750 • Medication and prescriptions: $640 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $300 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $260 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
