Avery wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Avery, 95, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,250 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 95. After a diagnosis of dementia Avery can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Avery desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Avery worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $290
• Part-time carer (four months): $4,450
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $510
