Adriana's stomach cancer treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Cartagena Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

In September I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. My oncology team at Cartagena Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 10 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 34, I worked as a shop owner until September, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Cartagena Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $165
• Transport to Cartagena Cancer Centre: $240
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,600
• Scans and lab work: $295
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
