Abhishek wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Abhishek, 77, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $500 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 77. After a heart attack Abhishek can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Abhishek desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Abhishek worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $500 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $320
• Medication and prescriptions: $125
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $15
