Aarti wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Aarti, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $350 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 76. After a stroke last September Aarti can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Aarti desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Aarti worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $350 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $85
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $55
• Part-time carer (three months): $210
