A youth football pitch for the Unity community hall: help our neighbors in Rosario
Volunteers in Rosario are raising $450 for a youth football pitch at the Unity community hall.
🇦🇷 Argentina927 views
For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 101 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $95
• Materials: $260
• Tools hire and delivery: $95
Thank you so much.
