A youth football pitch for the old Freedom bus depot: help our neighbors in Mumbai
A community-led a youth football pitch at the old Freedom bus depot that will serve 80 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Freedom bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 80 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
• Materials: $240
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
