A youth football pitch for the old Cedar bus depot: help our neighbors in Gwangju
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $2,300 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,300.
It will serve about 296 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Materials: $1,750
• Permits and inspections: $100
• Safety equipment and signage: $110
• Tools hire and delivery: $340
