A youth football pitch for Baobab Park: help our neighbors in Jakarta Barat

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 266 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $155 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Safety equipment and signage: $40 • Tools hire and delivery: $65 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Rizky
