A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Pasig
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $650 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 468 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Permits and inspections: $70
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $30
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
