A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Medan
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $550 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 434 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $340
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $75
• Tools hire and delivery: $105
