Teresa lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Los Angeles Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,300.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Teresa could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

what exactly is the $7,300 for?
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. fitting and training sessions is the biggest at $180. Good question.
