A solar-powered water pump for Pioneer Park: help our neighbors in Aurangabad
Volunteers in Aurangabad are raising $600 for a solar-powered water pump at Pioneer Park.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $55, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 262 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
