A skate park for the Liberty health centre yard: help our neighbors in Geelong
Volunteers in Geelong are raising $3,300 for a skate park at the Liberty health centre yard.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,300.
It will serve about 149 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Materials: $2,920
