A skate park for Jacaranda Park: help our neighbors in Thane

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $100. It will serve about 331 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $100 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $55 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $20 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Mohan
