A sensory garden for children with autism for Sycamore Park: help our neighbors in Angeles
Volunteers in Angeles are raising $600 for a sensory garden for children with autism at Sycamore Park.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 141 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
