A sensory garden for children with autism: a volunteer-led effort in Seoul
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $2,250 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,250.
It will serve about 416 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Materials: $1,850
• Permits and inspections: $75
• Safety equipment and signage: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $145
