A playground for the Union health centre yard: help our neighbors in Ikeja
Volunteers in Ikeja are raising $500 for a playground at the Union health centre yard.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 506 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $360
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
