A playground for the Liberty health centre yard: help our neighbors in East London
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $800 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 529 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $800 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $165
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Materials: $570
