A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Davao City
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $350 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 194 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $190
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
