A community fridge for the Freedom vacant lot: help our neighbors in Rohini
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $450 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 469 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Materials: $370
• Permits and inspections: $20
