Damilola Bukola Fashola
Physics teacher at Pioneer Academy, 1998 to 2009
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Pioneer Academy
- 1998 to 2009
- English, Hausa
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Damilola
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Damilola: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me physics in 2016 at Pioneer Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won

A small gift is a big thank-you.
