Zelalem's final semester of a law degree in Jimma
A first-generation student, Zelalem needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a law degree.

Zelalem is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Jimma Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has said Zelalem can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Zelalem has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Zelalem would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Zelalem isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $600 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $300
• Final term tuition: $250
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $35

Best of luck, Endale. Shared this with my family. Don't give up. Thinking of Jimma
Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Lagos.
