Venkatesh's stomach cancer treatment fund
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Gaya Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Venkatesh was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January. The oncology team at Gaya Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Venkatesh is 37, worked as a hairdresser until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gaya Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Transport to Gaya Regional Medical Center: $170
• Scans and lab work: $100
• Household costs while unable to work: $230

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. chemotherapy and medication not covered comes first ($1,300) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
