Tobias is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Berlin Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,550.
The registrar has said Tobias can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Tobias has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Tobias would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Tobias isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Tobias.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. outstanding tuition balance is the biggest at $1,700. Good question.
