Tuition fund for Salvatore: an agriculture degree at the Rome Institute of Technology
A first-generation student, Salvatore needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.
🇮🇹 Lazio, Italy1,199 views
Salvatore is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at the Rome Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,700.
The registrar has said Salvatore can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Salvatore has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Salvatore would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Salvatore isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,050
• Final term tuition: $2,250
• Exam and lab fees: $240
• Textbooks and materials: $160
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
