Sacramento
Peyton is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at the Sacramento Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,150. The registrar has said Peyton can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Peyton has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Peyton would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Peyton isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Sacramento Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $3,150 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,700 • Final term tuition: $1,000 • Exam and lab fees: $100 • Textbooks and materials: $350 Thank you so much. - Aria

Outstanding tuition balance is $1,700 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Let me know if you want more detail.
