Tuition fund for Nicole: a master's in public health at Caloocan Community College

Nicole is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Caloocan Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Nicole can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nicole has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nicole would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Nicole isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Caloocan Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Final term tuition: $400 • Textbooks and materials: $35 • Outstanding tuition balance: $215 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Isabel
