He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $750. The registrar has said Joaquim can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Joaquim has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Joaquim would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Joaquim isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Olinda University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $750 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $80 • Outstanding tuition balance: $600 • Textbooks and materials: $70 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
