Casablanca
Florian is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Casablanca Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Florian can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Florian has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Florian would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Florian isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Casablanca Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $450 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $20 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Final term tuition: $390 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
