Tuition fund for Damilola: a master's in public health at Abuja Community College

Damilola is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Abuja Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Damilola can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Damilola has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Damilola would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Damilola isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $600 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $380 • Final term tuition: $140 • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Textbooks and materials: $60 If you're reading this, thank you. - Jide
