Damilola is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a law degree at Kano Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Damilola can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Damilola has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Damilola would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Damilola isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kano Community College bursar's office.
