Christina is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Hannover Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,550. The registrar has said Christina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Christina has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Christina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Christina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Hannover Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $2,550 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,400 • Final term tuition: $850 • Exam and lab fees: $85 • Textbooks and materials: $215 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Marie
