The Tesfaye family fled Ethiopia - help them rebuild in Nuremberg
The Tesfaye family are rebuilding in Nuremberg after leaving Ethiopia; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Ethiopia 14 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Nuremberg. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in March.
I was a nurse in Ethiopia, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $1,100
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $155
• Language classes and bus passes: $495
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you the best, Songül. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
