The Petrenko family fled Afghanistan - help them rebuild in Vigo
The Petrenko family are rebuilding in Vigo after leaving Afghanistan; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Afghanistan 7 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Vigo. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in October.
I was a farmer in Afghanistan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $135
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $220
• Language classes and bus passes: $210
• Rent deposit and first month: $935
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Please keep us posted. All the best.
Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in San Nicolás de los Garza but we're thinking of you. All the best.
I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Zapopan donated after I showed her your page.
