The old Liberty bus depot needs a youth football pitch - Michelle's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $3,900 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Liberty bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,900.
It will serve about 517 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,900 goes:
• Materials: $2,700
• Permits and inspections: $330
• Safety equipment and signage: $460
• Tools hire and delivery: $410
