The old Jacaranda bus depot needs a youth football pitch - Natalie's neighborhood project
A community-led a youth football pitch at the old Jacaranda bus depot that will serve 487 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,800.
It will serve about 487 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Materials: $1,250
• Permits and inspections: $280
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
