The old Freedom bus depot needs a community fridge - Kevin's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $3,500 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Freedom bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,500.
It will serve about 89 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Tools hire and delivery: $370
