The Nguyen family fled Iraq - help them rebuild in Berlin
Help a family of 3 start their new life in Berlin: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Iraq 6 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Berlin. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in January.
I was a shopkeeper in Iraq, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $540
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,300
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $360
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
