The Maple community hall needs a youth football pitch - Hassan's neighborhood project
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Maple community hall that will serve 325 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 325 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
• Materials: $230
