The Lotus community hall needs a youth football pitch - Travis's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Leeds are raising $3,450 for a youth football pitch at the Lotus community hall.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $620, and the remaining cost is $3,450.
It will serve about 189 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $200
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Materials: $3,010
